Help build my website has added another new page
Good Morning All,
Youll notice help build my website has a new page in the menu buttons called "website widgets".
Im using and advanced gallery to display all the widgets I have in categories so you can find exactly the ones you want. Right now I have animal widgets, Blog widgets and Chat room widgets up, this list is going to grow significantly in the coming days. Coming soon will be recipe/cooking widgets then I want to add some misc widgets so there will something for everyone.
The great thing about most of these widgets is you can customise alot of them to use your own sites colors by clicking "get widget"

Help Build My Website - Want your link on the left side of my site?
Just drop me an email and as long as you have a site that doesnt promote anything bad, I'll add the thumbnail image of your site to the left side of my site.
See the ones I've allready added. All of them are very dear to me and there isnt much I wouldnt do to help them out.

Help build My Website
I wanted to share a few simple things I've learned that can help you avoid building a website that doesnt make your customer/visitors want to stay or purchase from your website.
My website is just informational but I follow these same rules. Except on my personal website.
Avoid music that plays automatically in the background. Always give customers the option to play it IF they wish.
Consider this: Your at work browsing for a gift for someone and all of a sudden loud music begins to play.....everyone in the office including your boss turns to look...and you arent supposed to be browsing the internet at work !! Do you think this client will come back to your website again after that?
Avoid making the buying process take forever. The simpler the better. This is a common mistake on many e-commerce websites. Example: If your at home with kids running around playing and your trying to hurry up and purchase a gift for them, do you want to wait 5 minutes just to be able to checkout, with the chance of the kids seeing what your buying? Not likely...
Offer a reason to shop with you, it's a competitive market out there...incentives, incentives, incentives.
If your asking them to sign up on your website, give them a reason to want to.
Such as: First 10 members to sign up get free shipping on all orders under $20.00 or something like this.
Regarding Keywords: These have to be the most important part of your site.....if you use words like "build my website" or "informational website" and your site has nothing to do with this, well suffice it to say, it wont be relevant in the search engines.
Use your keywords on the pages of your site, often. Use the footer area of your pages to also display keywords and you can even make them into links.
Hopefully the information here will help your informational or ecommerce website prosper. My website has hit number #1 in google for "help build my ecommerce website" and #4 for "help buld my website", Use those keywords !!!
